Coach | Senior Consultant
My commitment to leadership development and DEI stems from living and working in numerous countries around the world. I take a dialogic approach with my clients with a goal of generating individual and organizational wisdom while addressing business challenges. As an Activate senior consultant, I coach and advise individuals striving to excel at their intersections of leadership, organizational change, and social justice. I also consult with clients to identify and improve aspects of their organization’s culture to increase innovation, inclusion and employee engagement.
My global, multi-industry career in executive development and organization development spans over 30 years. I held senior leadership and management positions in companies including Hewlett-Packard, Levi Strauss & Company, Charles Schwab & Company, and most recently Roche/Genentech. As VP and Chief Learning Officer, I coached leaders in their transition from supervisor to middle management, and from middle management to senior leadership. As Head of People and Organization Development, I consulted with senior management teams in leading their organizations amidst mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructures, hyper growth, and downsizing. I earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of California, Riverside.
