I grew up on the South Side of Chicago and am 3rd of 7 children.  My life started out and continues to be filled with family, friends, fun and good food.  

I am a firm believer in the law of attraction, that life is supposed to be fun and that if it’s not a hell-yes, it’s a hell-no.  I enjoy most of what I do - especially walks along the Marina, meditation, music (partial to classic rock), sci-fi and fantasy in film or the written word, and good conversation.

I am delighted and appreciative of how everything is working out for me.

Contracts & Operations | Managing Member

I always appreciated the term “chief cook and bottle washer” and lo and behold, that’s what I do for Activate! 

My official title is Operations Member Partner. 

·       Operations: as in managing and growing our financial well-being, building and maintaining client contractual relationships, making sure that the business is compliant on all levels, and supporting anywhere I can

·       Member: as in thrilled to be a member of an extraordinary group of “activating” women

·       Partner: as in being in right relationship with myself and our team, having a voice in how things are run and developed, and enjoying mutual respect and nurturing

In the 1980’s, I trained as a professional bodyworker at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (CSMT).  When I broke my arm 5 months out of school, I was hired as CSMT’s Operations Administrator and helped run the school for 7 years.  That was my first step into the world of Operations.  I shifted back to bodywork for several years, running my own small business and then, in 2009, was hired as Operations Manager for Enact Leadership.  I was with them for 12 years refining my operations and management skills to be specific to a scrappy boutique consulting firm.  So, here I go again!
